MSGOP Spotlights National Committeewoman Jeanne Luckey

Jeanne Luckey has been active in the Republican Party for over 30 years. She became interested in politics in college and upon moving to Ocean Springs, Mississippi, she became involved in the local Republican Women’s club. After working on many campaigns and attending extensive campaign training, she began training candidates and volunteers on winning campaigns throughout the state. She has served as president of the Mississippi Federation of Republican Women, held several board positions on the National Federation of Republican Women and was co-chairman of the Mississippi Republican Party. At the national level, Jeanne has served as Republican National Committeewoman for six years. Presently, she serves on the Presidential Nominating Process Committee and the RNC Budget Committee. During the 2016 election cycle, she was elected by her fellow members to the RNC Committee on Contests and the RNC Site Selection Committee, which chose Cleveland for the site of the 2016 convention. Having attended six Republican National Conventions, she is one of a few people to have served on all four of the convention committees.

Jeanne resides in Ocean Springs where she is the owner of JCL LLC, a real estate holding company and Magnolia State Development Group. Extremely active in her community, Jeanne has served on the Board of Directors of the Gulf Coast Debutante Society for 12 years, is a member of the Board of the Gulf Coast Salvation Army and the Coastal America Insurance Company Board of Directors. She has held leadership positions in the Junior Auxiliary, Children’s House School Board, Walter Anderson Museum Board and the Gulf Coast YMCA.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Alwyn, and is the proud mother of two daughters, Laurel and Taylor. Jeanne graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Special Education and received her Masters in Special Education from the University of Southern Mississippi.
